Creating a Safe Base
We put a lot of time and effort into creating a “home away from home” experience for children in our care, through our values, our work, and how we build nurturing e
A Family Team
Our childcare practitioners are truly passionate about the care, development and wellbeing of every child that comes through our doors, forming strong attachments, connections and relationships with every single one.
We are a values-based employer, and have selected staff that we feel believe in the ethos and values of Lullaby Lane, as well as being passionate about the growth and development of children.
Our staff are led by a management team who are fully dedicated to meeting each child’s needs and have a passion and true vocation within the early year’s industry. We truly believe our staff are our biggest asset.
Nurturing nature
Rain, shine, sleet or snow (or all four in one day in Scotland!), playtime is an essential part of the day at Lullaby Lane in our indoor and outdoor play areas, whether it be to connect with children or to nurture their curiosity.
Each child at Lullaby Lane has a key person, who works closely with the child and families, allowing children to feel safe and happy from when they are dropped off until they are picked up.
We are proud to offer love, cuddles and kisses to ensure that all our children feel part of the Lullaby Lane Family. Parents and children, even from the start, have remained connected and close to Lullaby Lane to this day!
Health and wellness
As part of our practice, we focus on mindfulness and wellbeing as well as healthy eating in our nurseries, with wellbeing sessions including mindfulness and yoga regularly facilitated by our dedicated wellness co-ordinators.
Rituals are an important part of human life, and our nurseries, with children participating in Christmas parties, as well as “graduation parties” when they sadly have to depart to “big school”.
Staff also routinely take part in “Daring Ventures” sessions with renown development psychologist Dr. Suzanne Zeedyk to further expand their knowledge of childhood brain development and how to implement that in practice.
