Golf It!, our new Hogganfield home

We are delighted to announce the opening of our third Lullaby Lane Nurseries location at Golf It!, based at Seven Lochs Wetlands Park in Hogganfield in the East End of Glasgow. This is part of an exciting partnership between Lullaby Lane, Golf It! and The R&A, the renown governing organisation of golf.

We will be open and ready to welcome all children aged from two to five on February 5th, 2024.

Our Facilities at Golf It!

The calm, quiet nature of the Seven Lochs Wetlands Park is ideal for creating a safe, nurturing environment for the children that come through our doors, as well as being able to experience the beauty of the surrounding natural environment. Indoors is a bright, airy environment with plenty of natural light for children, as well as plenty of toys and activities to nurture their curiosity, and to have fun every single day.

We have capacity for up to 46 children a day at our nursery.

Nurture Room

The Nurture room is for our 2-3 year olds, and is a bright, calming environment designed with the understanding that children are beginning to become independent and develop their own self-helping skills. Our practitioners will be there every step of the way to help children develop these skills and to understand their feelings. We will encourage children to go to the toilet, but understand it’s a work in progress, so we also have full nappy changing facilities!

Nature Room

The Nature room is for our 3-5 year olds, and is an airy and relaxing environment, understanding that children are more independent at this age, but still need lots of love, support and care on their journey. We have plenty of toys to help hone their fine motor skills and get them ready for the transition into school days with plenty to read. Children will get involved with activities and creative projects inside and outside to help spark their curiosity.

Outdoor Play

We have the privilege and the joy of having access to the Seven Lochs Wetlands Park as well as the Golf It! site at our nursery, as well as access to a private garden facility for outdoor play. Children will be taken on walks, as well as being given the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors (weather permitting!). We will also encourage and support with activities and projects in our private garden at the nursery.
