A safe base for children aged 0-5 in Milngavie

Lullaby Lane Milngavie was the second nursery we opened, continuing our work to create a home away from home environment for children.

We offer a variety of loose parts and open ended resources that give the children opportunity to be creative and use their imagination.

Our playroom environments are set up to be interesting and engaging and allows the children to explore and develop their own interests and promote their own learning at a pace that suits each individual.

Our Facilities at Milngavie

We have expansive facilities at Lullaby Lane Milngavie for children aged from 0-5. Sharing the facility with Bearsden and Milngavie Sports Club, we have lots of space indoors, as well as being able to take children into the great outdoors with our garden facilities, and the surrounding Milngavie area with a range of extracurricular activites.

We have space for up to 67 children at our Milngavie facility.

Baby Rooms

We have a number of baby rooms available for children aged 0-2 allowing babies and toddlers to be cared for in comfort as they begin to discover the world around them.

Our practitioners understand that at this age, children are beginning to learn to communicate, as well as develop their motor skills.

Babies are given lots of contact, touch and nurture to help develop and understand these newfound skills

2-3 Rooms

Our 2-3 rooms are designed around a child’s growing curiosity, allowing them to discover themselves and the answers to the “whys” and “whats” they are beginning to learn.

Our practitioners help to nurture this growing independence as well as help them to regulate their developing emotions and guide them along the way.

There are lots of loose parts toys and environmental stimuli to help them to develop their independence.

3-5 Rooms

Our 3-5 room is for children that are discovering the wide open world around them, with plenty of open space for them to run around and put their growing energy to good use!

We have wheeled toys, as well as plenty of books and activities to help nurture them and begin the transition towards moving into Primary School.

Our practitioners will sing, dance, laugh and run around with children in our 3-5 room.

Outdoor Play at Lullaby Lane Milngavie

We have access to a large outdoor space where the children love to explore and get messy, our children have the opportunity to be curious about the world around them with unlimited access to the outdoors as and when required depending on the child’s preferences and interests.

The children have taken part in a lot of outdoor experiences encouraging physical development. We enjoy going on nature walks and using outdoor resources to create shapes and letters. During these walks the children are developing their own learning in their own unique way allowing them to express themselves and be creative.

The children spend time with our local dementia group at St Pauls church in Milngavie and go along to sing and share stories with the group on a Tuesday afternoon. This gives the children the opportunity to meet the community and learn about the world around them.

Getting to Lullaby Lane Milngavie

Lullaby Lane Milngavie is just off the A807 Auchenhowie Road, near the Rangers Football Club training facility.

We are accessible via the 60a bus route and a short walk from Milngavie railway station, with plenty of ample buggy parking for any parents wishing to walk to the nursery.

We also have plentiful on-site parking for any parents wishing to drop off and collect their children via car.
