Our Vision

Our Story

We have a bold vision where we want to make Scotland the best place for children to grow up.

Due to personal experiences and professional history within training and recruitment for the Early Years industry our founders Pauline and Ian Scotts discussed, for several years, the opportunity of opening their own nursery.

They finally made the decision in 2013 due to a number of reasons including the high level of demand for quality childcare within our own local area of Bearsden and the identification of suitable premises within Westerton.

Over ten years later, we’ve cared for over a thousand children and made Attachment Led Practice a core tenet of what we do at Lullaby Lane.

Attachment Led Childcare

We take a scientific approach and understanding to the way we do childcare; recognising that 0-5 are the most important developmental years of a child’s life.

Understanding the importance of children connecting with caregivers means we are able to deliver quality childcare to both children and parents.

This forms our Attachment Led Practice; an approach to childcare that understands the science of connection, but also how to turn that into nurturing, enriching experiences for the children in our care.

By creating a “home away from home” we want children in our care to feel as safe and relaxed as they would feel with their parent or caregiver.
